Lucknow: The court in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur on Thursday witnessed a stir when a Muslim boy arrived to marry a Hindu girl. In fact, the girl was a minor, but the boy had made her fake documents. As soon as the girl's mother came to know about it, she reached the spot with Bajrang Dal workers.
Bajrang Dal activists handed over the accused boy to the police, but the police were reluctant to register a case. After which dozens of Bajrang Dal activists camped in Kotwali for eight hours, then at 11 pm, the police registered an FIR against Saifi and arrested him. In this case, Kanpur Kotwali CO Ashok Kumar Singh has said, "The girl has lodged an FIR against Saifi alleging that Saifi first trapped her in a love trap under another name, then took her to the hotel and did wrong things with her and was forcibly marrying her by making a video of her.''
According to the police, the girl said in her allegation, "Saifi had shown me as an adult by making a fake Aadhaar card, while I am still a minor. Following the girl's statement, the police registered an FIR against the accused under sections of rape as well as forced conversion and arrested him. On Friday morning, the girl's medical check-up will be conducted and the statement of 164 will be recorded. In this case, Bajrang Dal leader Krishna Tiwari has claimed that Saifi's gang consists of many people who convert Hindu girls and get them married. The girl's mother has alleged that Saifi also ordered 50 thousand rupees from the house and was going to sell my girl to someone for two lakh after marriage.
