Both the parties had accused each other of pelting stones and firing. In the same case, SP candidate Abhay Singh has been arrested and brought to the police line. At the same time, Abhay Singh alleged that the supporters of BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari had attacked him.

During his arrest, Abhay Singh said that a conspiracy was being hatched against him. That's why they're being arrested. At the same time, he told his supporters that now I am going to jail, now the election is in your hands. BJP candidate Aarti Tiwari's husband and former BJP MLA Indra Pratap Tiwari alias Khabbu Tiwari is already in jail in a corruption case.
