Lucknow: A Class 10 student was allegedly drugged and raped by a man in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, police said on Sunday. Somehow, the victim escaped from the clutches of the accused and reached home. After this, on Wednesday, the victim's family informed the police about the case. After this, the police arrested the accused youth and sent him to jail.    

According to the report, this case is from the Ashiana Kotwali area of Lucknow. According to the student, a resident of Shardanagar, she was friends with Shahrukh Khan, a resident of Ratankhand. Shahrukh had talked about a birthday party on February 4. Accused Shahrukh Khan also invited the student to the party. On reaching Ratankhand, the accused Shahrukh took the victim to a house. Where there was no one except Shahrukh. According to the victim, the accused mixed drugs in cold drinks and fed the victim. After which she became unconscious.  

During this, Shahrukh raped the student. When the student regained consciousness, Shahrukh also assaulted the victim. Somehow, the girl pushed the accused out of the house. Inspector Ajay Prakash Mishra said that on Wednesday, the student reached the police station with the family. On his complaint, a case has been registered and the accused Shahrukh has been arrested.
