Lucknow: A shocking case of heinous acts against a cow has come to light in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, e-rickshaw driver Shoaib has been caught red-handed doing falsework with a cow. Although he managed to escape at that time, the police nabbed him on Thursday (August 26, 2021) and sent him to jail.

The case pertains to the Mussoorie police station area of Ghaziabad. The incident took place when Sumit, the owner of the cow, had gone to his in-laws on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on August 22. According to media reports, Sumit is a resident of Puthi in the Mussoorie police station area. He says that when he went to his in-laws on Raksha Bandhan, a boy named Shoaib reached his house with fodder in an e-rickshaw. Sumit alleged that Shoaib did a falsework to the cow when he saw it alone.

Sumit's younger brother caught Shoaib red-handed doing dirty work with the cow, but Shoaib somehow managed to escape at that time. Sumit then registered a case against Shoaib under Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Shoaib, a resident of Dasna, has reportedly been arrested and sent to jail.
