Meerut: A person making rotis by spitting on them at a wedding ceremony has been arrested in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The accused's name is Naushad alias Sohail, whose video went viral and was arrested by Meerut police. In this case, Sachin Sirohi of 'Hindu Jagran Manch' had written a written complaint to the police. The video going viral is of Aroma Garden Garh Road, about which a complaint was lodged at Haja police station.

He had stated in his written complaint that Naushad alias Sohail was spitting in the oven and spitting while cooking the tandoor loaves at the wedding ceremony. He also referred to the coronavirus infection epidemic in his complaint. Such acts can be counted as deliberate attempts to spread infection under the Pandemic Act. They also called it against society. The police took action on the basis of this complaint.

Police registered the case under the Pandemic Act and investigated it. Many Hindu organizations and activists expressed anger over the matter. Police have said that action was taken to maintain law and order and during this time it has been learned that this video is from Tuesday (February 16, 2021). The accused Lisadi Gate is a resident of Dahar Smar Garden Mohalla located in the Meerut police station area.
