Lucknow: The rape and murder of two sisters of a Dalit family in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur district have raised big questions on the Congress. The cheques were given by Congress leaders to the Dalit family in the name of financial help to prove themselves sympathizers have bounced. Now the UP Police has registered an FIR in this case.

On September 14, 2022, two Dalit sisters were raped and killed. Junaid, Sohail, Arif, Hafiz, Chhote, and Karimuddin were arrested in the murder case. The chargesheet was filed in just 14 days. However, the cheques given by Congress leaders to the family at that time in the name of financial help have bounced. The signatures on the cheque did not match with the signature of the account. That's why it bounced. During that time, Congress MLA Virendra Chaudhary presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh and UP Congress Committee chief YK Sharma a cheque of Rs 2 lakh. ┬а

At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Navnirman Sena chief Amit Jani, who was recently in the news, also gave a cheque of Rs 1 lakh. Amit Jani's cheque has also bounced. At the same time, Amit Jani told the media that his cheques were wet due to rain. He had called the victim's family later and asked them to take away the cash.
