Prayagraj: Four women and a child have lost their lives in a horrific road accident near Handia toll plaza in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. While five other people are seriously injured in this accident, who have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment. According to the information received, Tavera's car going from Kanpur to Varanasi rammed into an electric pole near Handia toll plaza. 

In this accident, five people including 4 women and 1 child died on the spot. 5 others have been seriously injured in the accident. Handia police station reached the spot and took all the injured to the hospital. The police have got the bodies of the deceased done and sent them for postmortem. Along with this, the police station on the spot is engaged in advance action. According to the police, the accident took place around 6:40 am when the Tavera vehicle (UP 78 BQ 3601) collided with an electric pole. 

According to the report, all the people in the vehicle were going from village Sarai Lal alias Shivgarh police station Soraon district Prayagraj to visit Vindhyachal. Those who died include Rekha wife of Sanjay Agrahari age 45 years, Rekha wife of Ramesh age 32 years, Krishna Devi wife of late Shyamlal age 70 years, Kavita wife of late Dinesh age 36 years, Kumari Ojas age 1 year.
