Bhadohi: Now only two days are left for the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly to begin the budget session. Earlier, a widow in Bhadohi district has accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ravindranath Tripathi and six others of sexually harassing them her years. The incident is expected to increase the problem of the ruling Yogi Adityanath government.

Bhadohi's Superintendent of Police (SP) Ram Badan Singh, while giving details of the case, said that "the woman met the nephew of BJP MLA Ravindranath Tripathi in 2014. She says she was exploited for many years by him on the pretext of marriage." The woman's husband died in 2007. " The complainant also said that the nephew kept her in a hotel in Bhadohi for about a month during the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, where she was raped by the MLA and others from her family.

The case has been handed over to the Additional Superintendent of Police for further investigation.  Let us tell you that the budget session of Uttar Pradesh is starting on Thursday. In such a situation, the opposition tries to surround the Yogi government in this matter.
