Pratapgarh: Voting day has become the darkest day for administrative officers and police department in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh on April 19 in the three-tier panchayat elections. All claims of District Officer Dr. Nitin Bansal and SP proved to be airborne. Voting was going to be held in 17 blocks of Pratapgarh for Pradhan, BDC member, Zilla Panchayat member.

Despite all the security arrangements, there has been a lot of uproar and ruckus in various areas of the district. Somewhere, there was a fierce struggle in the district for fake voting due to ballot paper going wrong. It is worth mentioning that Pratapgarh, the district of the state, was not less than the ravines of Chambal on Monday. Be it the leaders of the ruling party or the candidates and their supporters, all had broken the law and order of Pratapgarh to win themselves in the Panchayat elections.

Police personnel and officers were unable to understand what to do if they did. When the situation got out of control, the police had to fire sticks and bullets at some booths. The extent was reached when the miscreants tried to snatch the ballot by crying the bus of the polling personnel coming back with ballot boxes in the evening and set the bus on fire when it failed. The police force reached and controlled the ballot boxes. One inspector has also been injured in this entire case. After this, the government has decided to vote again at 8 polling booths.
