Hapur: A case of murder has come to light. A Junior Engineer and his wife from the electricity department of Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district were shot dead. The incident has spread tension in the vicinity. Police arrived on the crime spot. It is a case of double murder. The bodies have been taken for postmortem. Simultaneously, the investigation of the case has also started. The incident of double murder took place in Garh Mukteshwar Kotwali area.

According to the information, 70-year-old VK Garg lived with his wife in Allahbakhpur village of Garh Mukteshwar area in Hapur district. VK Garg has retired from the post of JE in the Electricity Department. He used to run marriage bureau by staying in the village itself. Late on Friday night, the unknown miscreants shot the couple and absconded. Police arrived on the information of the double murder case and took possession of the bodies and took them for postmortem. As of now, the reasons behind the murder are not known.
