Saharanpur: In spite of strict laws designed to prevent crimes against women in the country, such crimes are not coming down. Everyday, there are reports of crimes against women from different corners of the country. The latest case has come out from Uttar Pradesh.

A man raped her own sister-in-law in Behat police station area of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and when the victim complained to her husband, he gave the victim three divorces. While giving the information, SP Dehat Vidha Sagar Mishra has said that a complaint has come to the station Behat in which a village youth has said that his sister was raped by her elder brother-in-law 20 days ago. When she complained to the in-laws, they threatened her that if she told this to anyone, she would be given three divorces.

According to the complaint, the victim's brother says that when her sister complained to her maternal uncle, her husband divorced her and drove her out of the house. The victim's brother has lodged a complaint at the police station against her husband, Jeth, mother-in-law, and Jethani. The police is investigating the case.
