Azamgarh: The counting of votes in all the 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to be held today (March 10) and ahead of the counting of votes, Samajwadi Party (SP) workers have created a ruckus over EVMs and ballot papers. In fact, Samajwadi Party workers created ruckus at the FCI Belisa counting centre in Azamgarh after ballot papers were found in a white Scorpio. Here the activists alleged that ballot papers and EVMs were brought from white Scorpions.

Samajwadi Party (SP) workers claimed to have recovered a plain ballot paper from a vehicle in Azamgarh and Moradabad, accusing the government machinery of rigging ahead of the counting and staged a protest over it. On the other hand, the SP alleged that an attempt was being made to replace the EVMs. In fact, after the uproar by the SP workers, a heavy police force reached the spot and calmed the matter down.
