Prayagraj: The students and their family members thrashed the students when a teacher allegedly molested the girls at a college in the Soran area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. According to police, the accused students had molested some girls during a health camp on the campus of Adarsh Janata Inter College on Tuesday.

The teacher drove the students out of the house after which they went home and came back with their family members and brutally beat the teacher with a stick. The students also resorted to fierce sabotage at the school. Senior Superintendent of Police Nagendra Singh informed that the case has been registered and the investigation is on. The accused boys are said to be absconding.

However, the family of one of them said that some students had accidentally fallen on some girls during a health check-up at the camp and the teacher hit them and abused them. On the other hand, the police said that all the eyewitnesses are being questioned at present and the police is looking into the matter in all aspects.
