Lucknow: A cash box full of Rs one crore and sixty lakhs has been stolen from the cash van of the SIS Procedure Company, which was putting money in the ATM on Thursday evening near plate number 10, railway station of Civil Lines police station area of Prayagraj city of Uttar Pradesh. After getting information about the incident, the police department officials reached the spot and started investigating the case.

Giving information about the incident, City Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava has told that around 6.30 pm on Thursday evening from the cash van of SIS Processor Company, which was pouring money at SBI ATM near Plot Farm Number 10 of Railway Junction in Civil Line Police Station area. It has been reported that a packed Cash bag worth one crore and sixty lakh rupees have been stolen. The inspection of the matter is going on.

Senior Superintendent of Police Satyarth Anirudh Pankaj reached the spot along with the police force of several police stations after receiving the information of theft of one crore sixty lakh rupees and started an intensive search of vehicles in the civil lines area. Three employees, including the driver, were present in the cash van and the employees informed the police that the cash box full of Rs.1.6 million was stolen from the van.
