Lucknow: Several areas of the state, including the capital of Uttar Pradesh, are currently under the grip of dengue, malaria and viral fever. Since then the demand for paracetamol and antibiotic medicine at medical stores has been growing quite rapidly. Medical stores are crowded with people. The shortage of supply has also come to the fore due to demand beyond normal days. In view of the demand, the administration is trying to supply more of these medicines.

According to Alok Eran (Chairman, Retail Chemists Association), consumption of paracetamol has increased more due to dengue, malaria and viral. According to Manoj Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, Lucknow Division, the supply of medicines is going well. He said that paracetamol or other medicines are already stocked more in terms of weather and season, so the chances of shortage are low.

Let us tell you that cases of viral fever have been detected in many districts, cities in UP. This includes the capital Lucknow, Mathura, Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Firozabad etc. This mysterious viral fever has so far claimed more than 100 lives in the state. This includes most children. The situation in Firozabad in UP is the most alarming. More than 50 people have lost their lives due to this viral fever.
