Lucknow: Themonsoon is set to enter Uttar Pradesh between June 29 and July 1. Even after the arrival of monsoon, many districts of the state have very little chance of rain in the month of July. In some districts, rain has been predicted for only 11 days. After the arrival of monsoon, the state receives heavy rainfall in July, August, September. This time, the rain is expected to be less in July. 14 districts are predicted to not receive rain for 21 days in July.

If you look at the meteorological department data, 14 districts of western UP including Shamli, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Saharanpur, Meerut, Aligarh, Mathura, Bulandshahar, Agra, Muzaffarpur will have dry days for 19 to 21 days. There will be no rain for 19 to 21 days in July. It will rain in the remaining 10 days. According to meteorologists, rainy days are decreasing in the monsoon. Climate change is a big reason for this. Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Jhansi, Banda and Lalitpur will be less likely to receive rain for 15 to 16 days. Good rain is expected for the rest of the days.

According to the Met department, other districts of the state such as Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Kanpur Dehat, Etah, Hathras, Kasganj, Etawah, Auraiya, Farrukhabad have been predicted to receive normal rainfall. There will be no rain for 17 to 19 days. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain for 11 to 12 days.
