Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and all ministers will now pay their income tax by themselves. State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has confirmed this. Let us tell you that till now the income tax bill of all ministers under the Uttar Pradesh Ministers' Salaries and Miscellaneous Act-1981 has been paid from the state government's state fund so far.

Giving information about the decision of the state government, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that according to the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, it has been decided that now all ministers will pay their income tax by themselves. He informed that ministers' income tax bill will no longer be paid from government funds. He told that CM Yogi has said that this provision of the Act will be abolished.

For information, let us tell you that in Uttar Pradesh, a law almost four decades old used to ensure that the ministers' income tax was paid from the treasury. However, the leaders say that there is no information about it. But now after the decision of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, this law will be abolished and all ministers will have to pay their income tax themselves.
