Dehradun: In a village of Pauri district in Uttarakhand, the number of infected people has increased to 89 with the confirmation of corona infection among more than 50 people. On giving information, the nodal officer for the corona of Pokhara block said that 39 people of the village were confirmed corona positive on Saturday, while 50 more villagers have been found infected with the coronavirus on Monday.

Dr Mayank has said that Sylhet village in Pokhara block of the district has been declared as a Containment Zone and has been sealed. The people of the village had attended a fair in the village earlier, after which they started seeing symptoms like cough, cold and fever. The infected people are kept at home in quarantine. Dr Mayank told that more samples are being gathered from the village.

577 new patients found on Monday in Uttarakhand, corona epidemic has been confirmed, while 6 other patients died due to epidemic. According to the bulletin issued by the state health department, with the arrival of 577 new patients, the number of coronavirus infected in the state has increased to 83,006. The highest number of 164 cases have been reported from Dehradun district.
