A painful accident occurred in Uttarakhand on Friday. An Innova car carrying migrant laborers from Faridabad (Haryana) to Pithoragarh fell into a deep ditch near Drydhang on the Tanakpur-Champawat highway. In the accident, the driver, a resident of Faridabad and a resident of Bageshwar, died on the spot, while the injured Pithoragarh died in the hospital. Two people have been seriously injured in the accident, who have been referred to the Higher Center after first aid.

The Innova car (DL1RTA / 1912) carrying four youths from Faridabad to Pithoragarh and Bageshwar left for Pithoragarh from Tanakpur on Friday afternoon. About two km from Drydhang at around three in the afternoon. At the turn of the first forest post, the car fell uncontrolled and fell into a trench about two hundred meters deep. In the accident, car driver Arun Kumar (36) son Rajaram Mandal, resident of Sector 88 Bad Mohalla Old Faridabad and Girish Ram (28) son of village Udkholi police station Panjula Garuda in Bageshwar district died on the spot.

While Suraj Singh Malsuni (21), son of Akholi of Pithoragarh district, son Hoshiar Singh succumbed during treatment in the joint hospital. In the accident, Suraj Malsuni's brother Deepak Malsuni (32) and Santosh Ram (25) of Pulkholi village in Bageshwar district Son Govind Ram is seriously injured, having been referred to the Higher Center. As soon as the accident was discovered, the police of Chalti Chowki reached the spot. A team of doctors, firefighters and SDRF, led by SDM Dayanand Saraswati, CO Vipin Chandra Pant, ACMO Dr. HS Hayanki, rescued the injured from the trench and reached the spot.
