Dehradun: A missing person died in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. As long as he was alive, the hospitals returned him from the door. And when dead, a panchayat started to fill the panchnama. Now everyone is escaping liability.

After all, who is responsible for the death of the missing person? Is he not treated just because he is COVID-19? Ambulance driver Virendra Singh Purasoda a resident of Sunar village, Kandi Saur, Tehri Garhwal, told reporters that many forms of human behaviour came to light. Many questions arose, and answers are still pending.

Virendra said in his statement, at 10 am on Tuesday, Dr Jagdish Joshi, medical officer-in-charge, Fakot, had received information from the Munikirati police station that someone lying in a sick state near Ramjhula Pul Hanuman temple. He is coughing loudly and is complaining of chest pain. On the instructions of the doctor, I reached the ambulance at around 10:30 pm, and with the help of the police, put the patient in the ambulance. Everyone apprehended that the person is covid19 positive. Therefore, the police also wore PPE kits. I reached the Purnanand Ground with the patient, where the medical team took COVID sample of the patient. Due to this fear the person died. The entire case is now being investigated.
