Dehradun: On Thursday, Uttarakhand cabinet meeting was chaired by CM Trivendra Singh Rawat. In which many important issues were discussed and many decisions were approved. A total of 14 proposals came in the meeting, out of which 13 proposals were allowed.

The key decisions of the Uttarakhand cabinet are like this: The government will give compensation to women suffering from sexual harassment and other incidents in Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand will have an assembly session from 23 to 25 September. There will be an ordinance to cut the salary and allowances of MLA, there will be a 30 percent reduction in secretarial and assembly area allowances along with salary. The people of Jaunsar Bawar will also get the ownership rights on the class four land.

Besides, permission for formation of PIU for Song and Jamrani Dam, structure of 143 posts was agreed, permission for 32 other posts, additional proposals for 112 posts were also agreed by the cabinet. And seven years after the increase in the retired chief justice of the high court and the service and ministerial allowance of judges. In both the items, the Chief Justice will now get 30 thousand and the judges will get 25 thousand rupees. Along with this, the tenure of the vice-chancellor of HNB Garhwal Medical Education University was increased from 65 years to 70 years. But there will be no reappointment. Also, recovery from JE will not be done in minor irrigation. After the demise, now the amount of recovery 4.80 lakhs will go to the write-off. All these decisions were approved during the meeting.
