Uttarakhand: Due to the bursting of a glacier in Uttarakhand, there was heavy destruction. According to the information so far, 10 people have died, along with more than 150 people are reported missing. It is believed that the death toll maybe even higher. However, in the midst of all this, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat of Uttarakhand has made a big announcement. He has stated in his declaration, 'The state government will give compensation of Rs. 4-4 lakh to all those who died in the incident.'

Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced a compensation of 2-2 lakhs from the National Disaster Fund. Yesterday, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said in a statement, 'ITBP jawans rushed inside the tunnel by rope. The people of our army have reached there. A team of NDRF has arrived here from Delhi. From the point of view of a medical facility, there are camps of the army, paramilitary forces and doctor of our state.'

Apart from this, he also said, 'We did an aerial survey of the place, after this, going to the village of Reni, where we can go, we took a road survey. There has been a decrease in the flow of the river which is a matter of relief and the situation is being constantly monitored.' The glacier exploded in Uttarakhand on the last Sunday and caused huge havoc. Two NTPC projects have suffered damage during this period. It is being said that more than one hundred and fifty people are feared to be missing in this incident. Only 10 bodies have been found so far.
