Chamoli: Recently, earthquake tremors were felt once again in Uttarakhand. This time the epicenter of the earthquake was Chamoli. The earthquake measured 3.2 on the Richter scale and its depth was ten kilometers. Apart from Chamoli, no earthquake has been reported from any other district in the state. According to the State Disaster Management Center, no damage is reported from anywhere at present. For the third time in a month, the earth is in the state.

According to information received from sources, the tremor was felt in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district around 4.26 am on Sunday. As soon as the tremors were felt, people in the district headquarters, Gopeshwar, came out of their homes. According to District Disaster Management Officer KN Joshi, the epicenter of the earthquake was Chamoli, which was at a depth of ten kilometers. Significantly, the tremors were felt in Chamoli on 24 November, Pithoragarh in Kumaon on 28 October and 19 November.

There was an earthquake in September as well: When it was noticed, it has been learned that earlier in September also, the people of the district felt the tremors of the district at around 22:22 after midnight and all Walked out of the houses. The intensity of this nightly earthquake was estimated at 3.6 on the Richter scale. At the same time, the epicenter of the earthquake was also Chamoli.
