Dehradun: The administration is serious in view of incessant rains and cloudburst in various parts of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. In view of the circumstances like a disaster and heavy rains, the administration in Munsari and Dharchula of Pithoragarh has announced to keep all government and non-government schools closed for the next 3 days. According to the order of the District Magistrate, from 9 September to 11 September, Anganwadi and 1 to 12 schools will be closed.

It is worth mentioning that on Saturday, heavy rains and cloudburst occurred in Govindghat area of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Due to cloudburst, the rainy stream created havoc in the area. About one to one and a half dozen vehicles have been in the grip of debris in the sudden water due to cloudburst.

The main parking lot of Govindghat has also suffered heavy damage due to cloudburst. However, thanks to the Deccan company's helipad and the chopper standing in it, it narrowly escaped the grip of this drain. No casualties have been reported in the entire incident. The SDRF and the administration team have been engaged in rescue operations on the spot. According to the information, the 100-meter highway is also under the grip of debris.
