Superintendent of Police Rachita Juyal has taken an important decision to help the helpless people. The SP has made all the police stations in the district a community restaurant. Along with this, food is being served to the hungry people. Police is also distributing ration to helpless people. The police of the district, showing strictness at the time of lockdown, has also come forward to help the needy. On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, food is being served to hungry people in all police stations. Along with this, the Superintendent of Police is also taking stock of this system.

SP says that no one is hungry in the district, for this, food is being provided to the people in the eateries of the police station. Police is also distributing ration to poor / labourers / helpless people. Ration has been distributed to more than a hundred families in the police station areas of the district. At the police station restaurants, food is being served from 07 am to 1 pm and from 7 pm to 10 pm in the evening. People in Bageshwar are now going out for essential work during the relaxation period in lockdown. Along with this, no congestion is being seen in banks, ration, vegetable shops.

The market's view on Saturday was the same as in previous days. People came out for essentials. Ration and vegetable shops were also not seen crowded. People are buying only what they need. Very few people reached banks for transactions. The closure of traffic sources from rural areas to the district headquarters is the reason behind people not reaching for the withdrawal of funds lying in Jan Dhan accounts. Along with this, after the end of the lockdown period in the banks, people are expected to generate income.
