Not all shops will open in Dehradun Municipal Corporation area and Doiwala assembly constituency. Along with this, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava said that Dehradun Municipal Corporation area and Doiwala assembly constituency is in the Red Zone, due to which all shops will not be opened here. A further decision will be taken after looking at the order received from the Center. On April 15, the Home Ministry has issued a guideline regarding the exemption granted to industries in the second phase of lockdown for prevention of Coronavirus infection.

Many people are defining it in their own way. On this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has cleared the doubt by sending a letter to the Chief Secretary of all the states. The ministry made it clear that neither the industries will be sealed nor the CEO will be jailed. The central government has given permission to open industries established in rural areas and special economic zones from April 20. But there will be a ban on opening of industry in the Corona affected areas. Industries will have to follow social distancing, workers' living and eating arrangements, sanitization and lockdown.

There is a doubt among the industries that if the non-compliance of Kovid 19 and lockdown will be sealed for three years and the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be jailed. Industries will be shut down for two days if sanitation is not done. The letter sent by the Home Ministry to the Chief Secretary said that there was no such mention in the guidelines issued on 15 April. Neither the industry will be sealed nor the CEO will be jailed. To prevent coronavirus infection, industries will need to follow the SOP of Kovid 19 and lockdown.
