In Dehradun district, the government will provide food for healthy diet of 1102 malnourished, undernourished children and high risk pregnancy. Peanut butter will be given to all of them every month by the Department of Women and Child Development. Along with this, Sundrop company of Kashipur has asked its CSR fund to provide thousands of kilo of peanut butter department every month. At the same time, the company has already delivered three thousand kilo cans to the department. At the same time, the department has also prepared a list of cases of malnourished, undernourished and hoi risk pregnancy in the district. Peanut butter can be made available soon.


Peanut butter is very tasty as well as healthy. Eating peanut butter during pregnancy reduces the risk of peanut allergy. It contains protein, calcium. It also strengthens the immune system due to having iron, vitamins and minerals. If you are underweight during pregnancy, eating peanut butter also increases weight.

The number of high risk pregnant women is expected to be delivered from May 5 to 31. Peanut butter will be taken to Anganwadi centers through women self-help groups from the respective sectors distributing tech home ration. From where the Anganwadi worker, sahayika will distribute peanut butter to the beneficiary following the rules of lockdown.
