Dehradun: Former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat wants to come out in 2022 from the depression of losing two assembly seats in the 2017 elections and the party being reduced to 11 seats. He told that he wants to remove the stigma of two defeats. For this, taking lessons from the mistakes made in the past, he put forward a roadmap for the future. In this regard, he has also written an emotional post on social media and appealed to the people to support him.
Harish has written on his Facebook page that the year 2022 is a chance for him to wash away the sad chapter of 2017 associated with political life. He said that in the year 2014-15-16, some such errors were committed by him, for which people punished him. He did not lose his courage and from the very next day started working to win the trust of the people again. Today the results are visible.
The people of Uttarakhand are eager to bring changes to the government. There is enthusiasm among Congress workers. Harish told that in defeat, along with losing respect and honour, sometimes you also lose friends. Many people left his side after the defeat. Even today some of his comrades are ready to punish till unimaginable circumstances. Harish Rawat told that when the people of the state got angry with him, he got punished, but the state got an incompetent government. Now he has urged the people of the state to support him again for the protection of Uttarakhandiyat.
