Dehradun: The weather is normal in Uttarakhand today. From the mountain to the ground, there is a lot of sunshine. According to IMD, the activity of western disturbances is likely to bring rain in nearby hilly cities including Dehradun on Tuesday. Snow is likely to occur in hilly areas above 3500 metres. On the other hand, Chardham Yatra is smooth.

In addition to Dehradun, moderate to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in districts like Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh. However, this time the activity of western disturbances is not very high. There is not much need for concern. The cold wave conditions are set to intensify. In such a situation, individuals need to be careful.

It was the second snowfall of the season at Badrinath Dham on Monday. The snowfall is causing severe cold wave conditions in the Dham. Kedarnath Dham received light snowfall for about half an hour in the afternoon. The high peaks of the Dham have already been covered with snow. Now, even in the hills adjoining the Dham, a white sheet of snow has been spread. The cold wave conditions in Badrinath Dham have increased considerably due to continuous weather conditions and snowfall. People coming to the Dham were seen shivering from the cold. The impact of snowfall in Badrinath was also visible in the Joshimath area. Cold wave conditions continued in Pandukeshwar, Joshimath and Auli as evening fell. The entire area has been hit by severe cold wave conditions.
