The sun came out in the capital in the morning amid partial clouds. However, the sun blossomed by noon. The day's maximum temperature was recorded at 21.9 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Monday, January 13, 2020, there may be hailstorm in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri and Nainital with rain. Whereas, more than 3000 meters altitude, especially Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts, can get snowfall.
