Flowers have started blooming in the World Heritage Valley of Flowers. After removing snow for about two kilometers of the Valley of Flowers, the trek from Nanda Devi National Park Administration has been opened for movement. Due to the lockdown, there is a ban on the movement of tourists in the valley, but tourists will be allowed to go after getting instructions from the high officials. Construction demolition action will be taken by the park administration in the presence of magistrate and police force from June 10. This action is being taken on the order of the court on behalf of the Forest Division. The Forest Division will recover the expenses incurred in demolishing the construction. Last year, forest officials in Ghangharia identified illegal construction work done on 2.102 hectares of reserved forest area. Then on the order of the court, the Nanda Devi National Park Forest Division, in November 2019, directed the people concerned to remove the illegal construction soon. But even after six months, there is no action in this direction, now the Forest Division itself has started the process of removing illegal construction.
