Sources close to the Mahaan reported that actress Simran will play Naachi in director Karthik Subbaraj's much-anticipated Tamil action-drama 'Mahaan,' which stars Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram in the key roles.

With the film set to premiere on Prime Video on February 10, the producers have begun releasing the names and looks of the characters that the principal actors will portray.  Simran will play Naachi, according to the team. Simran captioned the film poster on Twitter, "Me as Naachi in 'Mahaan.'"

Karthik Subburaj also said that Muthukumar will play the role of Gnanam in the film, while Sananth will play Rocky.  More importantly, the filmmaker stated, going to hold up an unseen still of Vikram from the film, "He will rise... Tomorrow," indicating that the character's identity will be revealed on Monday.

The film, directed by Lalit Kumar, tells the storyline of a sequence of events that change the lives of an ordinary man and those around him. In 'Mahaan,' real-life father-son pair Vikram and Dhruv Vikram star with Bobby Simha and Simran in significant roles for the first time.

'Mahaan' is the storyline of a man whose family abandons him after he deviates from the ideological route in his quest for personal liberty. However, when he realises his dreams, he misses his son's presence in his life. Is life-giving him a second opportunity to be a father now that he has achieved his aim of being a billionaire? This story is about how his life goes through an unexpected series of events in this thrilling, action-packed journey.
