Patna: Mega drive of corona vaccination launched on PM Modi's birthday was widely successful in Bihar. The immunization campaign conducted in the state broke all records. Bihar topped the list in terms of the highest vaccine in a day. On the occasion of PM Narendra Modi's 71st birthday, 30 lakh people in Bihar were targeted for the installation of the corona vaccine.
According to the data released by the same health department, Bihar remained very close to its target. 29 in the state under immunization campaign on September 17. More than 38 lakh people took doses of the vaccine. About 14,500 corona vaccination centers were vaccinated against individuals. CM Nitish Kumar had launched the vaccination campaign from Patliputra Sports Complex at Kankarbagh in Patna. The Chief Minister had also dedicated 70 oxygen generation plants on the occasion.
The same Bihar Government has set an objective of providing 6 crore vaccines in six months. The Mission 6 crore vaccination, which began on 21st June 2021, will continue till December. More than 2 crore people have been given vaccine supplements in the state till July and August under this campaign. So far, about 4,61,18,381 persons above the age of 18 years have been given the corona vaccine. The Government still has about three months left to suffice their target.
