New Delhi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi today questioned the system of the necessity of first registering online for vaccination. The Congress MP says that everyone going to the centre should get a corona vaccine, online registration is not enough. Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "Online registration for vaccine alone is not enough. Everyone who walks in to the vaccine center should get the vaccine. The right to life belongs to those who do not have the Internet."

In fact, recently the supreme court also questioned the need to compulsorily register on the Cowin app before vaccination. The court had said that policy makers should be aware of the ground reality and take into account the real status of 'Digital India'. The court had said, 'You should see what is happening all over the country. You should know the situation on the ground and the policy should be changed accordingly. If we had to do it, we should have done it 15-20 days ago.'

Rahul Gandhi recently questioned why private hospitals should take money if vaccines are free for all after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to provide free vaccines to states for vaccination. He tweeted, 'A simple question: If vaccines are free for all, then why should private hospitals take money.'
