Due to Covid-19, the entry of tourists into the Valley of Flowers was banned for the past several times. Now tourists can enter the Valley of Flowers, but tourists have to follow some guidelines. Tourists will have to show COVID Negative Report before entering, which should not be more than 72 hours old. Valley of Flowers is a national park located in Chamoli district of Garhwal region in Uttarakhand. This beautiful valley is also present in the World Heritage. After seeing the beauty of this place, the eye does not stop. 

The valley of flowers in the Garhwal area of Uttarakhand is spread over an area of 87.50 km. In 1982, it has been declared a National Park by UNESCO. The valley of flowers is alluring. People of the beauty of this valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains are crazy. More than 500 species of flowers will be seen in the Valley of Flowers.

This place is also described in Ramayana and Mahabharata: The description of Valley of Flowers has been seen in Ramayana and Mahabharata as well. According to religious beliefs, Valley of Flowers is the place from where Hanuman brought Sanjeevani Boots to save Laxman life.

According to locals, fairies live in the valley of flowers. Due to being the abode of fairies, people are reluctant to go here for a long time. It also works for making medicines from the flowers grown in this valley.

The Valley of Flowers was discovered in 1931 by Frank Smith and his partner Holdsworth. Frank was a British climber. After which it has become a famous tourist destination. Smith has also written a book about the Valley of Flowers. The name of this book is - Valley of Flowers.
