Under this, work is being done to help such people to reach them at their homes. The second phase of Vande Bharat Mission is going on this time. Under this, about 800 Indians from Doha, San Francisco, Melbourne and Sydney have been brought back to their homeland. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave this information.

In his statement, the Union Minister tweeted that Vande Bharat Mission is a campaign of hope and happiness. Under this, on May 25, 833 Indian nationals were flown to Doha, San Francisco, Melbourne and Sydney to Delhi, and Kochi to Ahmedabad. Last week, Puri said that till now 20 thousand Indian citizens have been brought back to the country under the mission and this number will increase further in the coming days.

The Foreign Ministry (MEA) recently announced that the second phase of the mission has been extended till June 13. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said, "The second phase of this mission started from May 16 and will last till June 13. We want to bring back our citizens of 47 countries in 162 flights in this phase."
