JAIPUR: The prime Vande Bharat train of Rajasthan will leave Integral Coach Factory, Chennai for Jaipur on the night of March 24 or 25 and will cover the distance in 3-4 days.

Officials of Jaipur division have been depolyed to Chennai to ensure that the train reaches Jaipur as per the schedule.

The train will contain 12 chaircars, two executive coaches, and one driver coach because it was specifically developed for the Jaipur-Delhi railway. Loco pilots and deputy loco pilots have received specialised training for its operation. Notably, it can begin in the first week of April following the train's arrival in Jaipur.

The train could also be extended all the way to Ajmer. Apparently, MP Bhagirath Chowdhary sought this of the Railway Minister, who was given a nod of permission symbolically, according to information from sources.

According to rail officials, the train's entry and exit gates will be automatic. Two charging ports have been installed under each seat, and two LED panels have been installed on either side to display the train's current running condition. There is high-speed WiFi available on the train.
