District Collector Kaushal Raj Sharma has directed all private covid hospitals to admit and treat the patient in the hospital as per the oxygen present in the hospital.

DM Kaushal Raj Sharma has categorically ordered that the new infected should not be admitted unless the old corona patient is discharged from the hospital. DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that varanasi district has a daily supply of about 3400 oxygen cylinders. In view of the shortage of oxygen, we are refilling and supplying oxygen cylinders to the hospitals which are low in oxygen throughout the night. Supply is being made there first.

He also asked that in the next few days, when the oxygen supply increases, the number of beds in hospitals should be increased again. The number of ventilator and oxygen beds in Varanasi, including private and government hospitals, is about 650.
