Lucknow: The work of videography and survey of the Gyanvapi Mosque complex located in Varanasi, the city of Baba Vishwanath, will begin today. Police are on high alert across Varanasi. At the same time, a large number of the police force has been deployed around the campus. After the order of the civil court, videography of the Gyanvapi mosque complex adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath temple is done.

The survey of the basements of the mosque will go at sunset from 3 pm on May 6. Which, according to estimates, will take three to four days. The report is to be submitted on May 10. Videography and photography will also be done during the survey. Even before this survey, the Muslim side has objected, saying that they will not allow anyone to enter the mosque for videography and survey. In such a situation, the investigating officers demanded to provide security during the survey. It may be recalled that five women Rekha Pathak, Sita Sahu, Laxmi Devi, Manju Vyas, and Rakhi Singh had filed a petition in the court to perform puja on a daily basis at the Makeup Gauri temple. In fact, this temple is located in the Gyanvapi Mosque complex. Therefore, permission from the court has to be taken to worship in it.

On this petition, on April 26, the Varanasi Civil Court appointed a commission in its order and ordered the commission to videography the makeup of Gauri on May 6 and 7 in the presence of both the parties. The report has to be filed in court by May 10.  At the same time, the Hindu side claims that the mosque has been constructed by demolishing the temple. Therefore, they should get the right to worship in the Makeup Gauri Temple. The survey will begin on Friday, so three levels of security have been deployed in the mosque in view of the Jumei prayers. At the same time, police have been put on alert in the entire City of Varanasi.
