Varun Dhawan was last seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The movie has done well on the theatre. The actor is all set for his upcoming film Bhediya with  Kriti Sanon. The movie will release in November this year. The duo was last seen together in Dilwale. Bhediya is a horror comedy that has been extensively shot in Arunachal Pradesh and both the actors shared a lot of pictures from there.

Varun Dhawan also spoke about his onscreen reunion with his favourite co star Alia Bhatt after their last release Kalank (2019). He said Alia was someone very close to his heart and they share an incredible chemistry. Varun added they were good friends, and he wanted to work with Alia again, and ‘it will happen sometime in the future'.  The duo has worked together in films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania after they made their Bollywood debut in 2012 with Student of the Year.

Varun Dhawan said, “She is someone who is very close to my heart, and we share incredible chemistry. You can't just make that today. We are good friends, we care for each other, and respect each other. I actually want to work with Alia again. I think it will happen, maybe sometime in the future. I will play a nanny in that, take the child on the stroller.”

On the work front, he was last seen in 'Jug Jug Jeeyo', a family entertainer with Kiara Advani, Neetu Singh and Anil Kapoor. He also appeared on the popular talk show 'Koffee With Karan'. His upcoming projects include the horror comedy 'Bhediya' with Kriti Sanon and 'Bawaal' alongside Jahnvi Kapoor.
