Pilibhit: MP Varun Gandhi has once again made a statement supporting farmers. He has once again come forward in support of the farmers. In fact, in a recent statement, Varun Gandhi said, "Farmers cannot be evicted from their land. If someone tries to do that, I will stand in the middle.'' He says to the farmers, 'Whoever comes to drive you away will have to pass over my corpse.'

All this was stated by MP Varun Gandhi in his parliamentary constituency, Tattarganj village in Pilibhit. In fact, Varun Gandhi is on a visit to Pilibhit and reached the Nepal border village of Sigada alias Tattarganj last Saturday. Here he met the farmers. Meanwhile, when the farmers told them that "the land they have been occupying for 60-65 years is now being asked to evict them due to lack of ownership rights.'' So, hearing the farmers' words, MP Varun Gandhi assured that no one would be able to evict them. On the other hand, he said among the flood-hit Rai Sikhs, "Rai Sikh is a brave community. Even in adverse circumstances, these people never get distracted. Such brave people should get ownership of the land and a job in the Army for the service of the country. On the question of attempts to snatch land, he said he will not allow such a cruel act to take place. No one will remove anyone from their lands.''

Let me tell you that the MP directed the concerned authorities on the demand of the residents of the area to construct the Bazarghat-Kambojnagar road up to Tattarganj. At the same time, he directed the SDM present on the spot to prepare an early account of the flood erosion and damaged crops and get compensation at the earliest. He said, "He will also speak to Lucknow authorities from his level on Monday.''
