Jashpur: In Chhattisgarh's Jashpur district, on the day of Vat Savitri Puja, such an incident came to light on Monday, due to which people got angry. In fact, due to the worship of Vat Savitri by women in the district, a Muslim man has been accused of throwing urine in polythene. The culprit's name is Naseem. The police have arrested the criminal. The matter is on Monday (30 May 2022).
Durga Devi and Bhagwati Singh have lodged a complaint with the police, making several women present at the spot as witnesses. According to him, "On May 30, in village Purnanagar, many women were worshipping Vat Savitri on the roadside. Just then, an unknown person came there and opened his pants pocket and said that I will add Gangajal to prasad. Then, he tried to urinate at the place of worship. He was then scolded and thrown out of there. After some time, the same person came again and stuffed urine in a plastic bag and threw it at the place of worship.”
The complaint further said, “By throwing urine, he asked the women that now I have done right, madam? With this, he said abusing that the brother-in-law is keeping the Hindu road blocked. On finding out, it came to know that he is a Muslim from the village Chir Garden. In the application, the appearance of the criminal was described as a lean skinny person of dark complexion and action was demanded. At the same time, in protest against this incident, Hindu organizations announced the Jashpur lockout on 1 June 2022. Due to this, the members of the Hindu organization took out a procession on the streets and demanded that the criminal be made the district Badar. Simultaneously, the protesters announced to submit a memorandum to the administration to remove the encroachment alleging illegal occupation by Muslims in the criminal's village garden.
