Ishita Dutta tied the knot with Just Mohabbat fame actor Vatsal Sheth on November 28, 2017. The two met on the sets of the TV show Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar. Their friendship soon turned into love. Now the couple will soon be completing five years of togetherness this year.

Talking about their relationship, Ishita said, "Vatsal is the mature one in our relationship, also because he's older to me. Whenever I have a problem or I feel like crying I go to him as he's my go to person for everything. On the other hand, I feel that in our relationship I am more of the fun person. I talk a lot and I like to go out and have fun and he's exactly the opposite. But we absolutely enjoy each other's company all the time."

In an earlier interview, Ishita had shared how shocked she was when Vatsal asked her for marriage. She said, "He suddenly asked me if I wanted to get married to him. Honestly, we had never discussed where our relationship was headed or what was going to happen. We had just started dating. He popped the question to me very early in our relationship. I hadn’t even given a proper thought to it. I was actually in shock when he asked. I took a moment to answer and that was the moment when I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him."
