Vedanti said that the Ram temple construction issue in Parliament can also be resolved on the basis of Hindu-Muslim mutual understanding. He said no power in the world can build a mosque on Ram Janmabhoomi. Vedanti claimed that no religious charities have any objection to the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya and a mosque in Lucknow. He defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not bringing an ordinance saying it is not feasible to bring an ordinance in the Rajya Sabha due to lack of BJP majority.

Vedanti said that 80 per cent of the Muslims in the country are in favour of an early resolution of the dispute. He said, more than 30 thousand temples were demolished across the country including Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya, but the saint society never demanded 30,000 temples. The saints of the country, including Guru Mahant Avadyanath of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, had proposed a demand for only three temples, including the Vishwanath Temple in Kashi, the Krishna Janmabhoomi of Mathura and the grand temple construction on Ram Janmabhoomi. "The temple in Ayodhya was demolished and the domes of the mosque were built. Just as temples that were demolished long ago in Pakistan and Malaysia were replaced by temples, why can't india? ''
