Jaipur: Ved Prakash Solanki, Congress MLA has recently levelled serious allegations against the Rajasthan government. In fact, Solanki says, "Many officials have reported that the phones of MLAs are being tapped and attempts are being made to trap many MLAs." Not only that, in his statement, Solanki has even said, "Some MLAs came and told me that their phones were being tapped. I can't tape any phones, I don't know. When the media persons asked me a question about phone tapping, I said, Discussions keep coming to me differently. But if a phone is taped, it is not even known. I didn't realize that my phone was being tapped.''

Now, the entire issue has been discussed by Rajasthan BJP State President Dr. Satish Punia. "If the state government is tapping and spying on the phone, the chief minister should reveal the names of the MLAs whose phones are being tapped," he says. If the phone tapping of the MLAs is taking place, the culprits are directly the Chief Minister and the Home Minister, they will have to respond in the public court. He has also said, "If an MLA expresses apprehension that espionage and phone tapping is taking place, there is an undeclared emergency in the state. Morally weak, no one can say how long the Congress government in the state will last, signs are pointing to mid-term elections.''

You must be aware that Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat's FIR in the case has also been challenged by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's OSD Lokesh Sharma in the Delhi High Court. In fact, the Delhi High Court served notices to Delhi Police and Rajasthan Police on a petition filed by Chief Minister Gehlot's OSD Lokesh Sharma. Lokesh Sharma told the court during the hearing that "AN FIR cannot be lodged in Delhi as the jurisdiction is from Rajasthan. He also said, "Gajendra Singh Shekhawat himself is an accused in rajasthan in this phone tapping case, while the kind of phone tapping allegations levelled against Lokesh Sharma are completely baseless.''
