National Award winner for Shool, Ramgopal Verma has directed a hindi movie after long time. This time it is a film based on South's notorious bandit Veerappan. The story of the film in the first half looks very scattered. But after the interval, and the last 30 minutes are quite accurate, describing the operation to catch Veerappan.

Let us know the story of the movie: The story is of 2004 when at the border of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Veerappan (Sandeep Bhardwaj) was the terror. Due to Veerappan's terror, government of both the states stayed quite disturbed.

Then, under an operation, a police officer (Sachin Joshi) besieges Veerappan. Meanwhile, the wife of Veerappan Muthulkshmi (Usha Jadhav) and a cop's wife Priya (Lisa Ray) enter. To know that to kill Veerappan what all the police does and what struggles it faces to kill him, you will have to watch the film.

Direction: The film's direction is in typical Ram Gopal Verma's style. With loud backgroung, the story moves in different directions. Long shots with no dialogues and a lot of blood shed is seen in the movie.

Acting: Actor Sandeep Bharadwaj's role as Veerappan is played brilliantly. His body language conveys what Veerappan would like. The National Award-winning actress Usha Jadhav's role of Veerappan's wife has also been played brilliantly .

Sachin Joshi and Lisa Ray's casting in the film seems to be quite wrong, they would have been replaced and probably the film would have become even more thrilling. Because audience might not be able to connect to these actors.

If you are keen to know how Veerappan was killed, then do watch
