Lucknow: The vehicle of the people returning from a wedding ceremony collided with a truck late in the night near Laharwan. Seven people, including two children, were killed in the incident which took place at around 2.15 pm. Several people were also injured in the incident. The CMS of the Bahjoi Community Health Centre confirmed the death toll in the accident.

According to police sources, a family from village Laharwan of Bahjoi police station area had gone to the Village of Badayun went to a wedding ceremony at Eicher Kanter in Chachipur. About 15-16 people, including several children, were on board the vehicle. The vehicle collided head-on with the DCM on the highway around 2.15 pm.

At the same time, two children and five adults were killed on the spot in a fierce collision. Some more people are feared dead. The victims were brought to the community centre in Bahjoi late last night. Doctors confirmed the death of seven, including two children. Even before that, there has been an incident in the country in which many people have lost their lives.
