Hyderabad: Recently big news has come about the senior actor and journalist Ravi Kondal Rao. He died on Tuesday at the age of 88. It is being told that Kondal Rao, admitted in a private hospital in Begumpet, died of a heart attack. According to the information received, he was born on 11 February 1932 in Srikakulam district.

Kondal Rao has got a good reputation as an actor, director, producer, and journalist. He acted in the first film Shobha in the year 1958 and was followed by films like Manasulu, Dasari Bulodu, Bhairavi Deepam, Rangun Rowdy, Chantabbai, Pelli Pustakam, Madam, Radha Gopal, Mee Shreyabhilashi, Varudu, King, Oi. Ravi Kondal Rao has acted in more than 600 films.

Apart from these, she also dubbed for Tamil and Malayalam films. Ravi Kondal Rao has also been the Deputy Editor in the 'Madras Anandwani' newspaper. Radha Kumari, wife of Kondal Rao, had died in the year 2012 due to heartburn. Radha Kumari also acted in more than 600 films and Kondal Rao and Radha Kumari have also acted together in many films.
