For the increasing rape cases in the country, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that bringing new laws is not the solution to the problem. The law was brought even after the Nirbhaya scandal, but the problem was not resolved even after this.

Apart from this, the Vice President said that India is being infamous. Somebody has said that India is becoming this (statement given by leaders). I do not want to get involved in all these things. He said that we should never discredit our country and should not enter politics in such cases of atrocities.
