New Delhi: Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu addressed the 19th SCO summit today. During this, he said, 'Terrorism is the biggest challenge in our region'. At the same time, he praised India's efforts against Corona, saying, 'covid-19 mortality in the country is the lowest in the world'.
Along with this, he also said in his address that, 'Relations between India and the SCO region have developed seamlessly for thousands of years. India's GDP is expected to reach five trillion by 2025. It will be the youngest country with an average age of 29 years. ' In this meeting, the Vice President also said, 'The most important challenge facing us in the region is terrorism, especially cross-border terrorism. India condemns terrorism in all its manifestations. We are particularly concerned about the countries whose policies benefit terrorists. '
In a further statement, he referred to India's fight against Corona, saying, "India has bravely fought the global pandemic and shown remarkable resilience in fighting the virus as well as ensuring economic stability." Covid-19 mortality in India is one of the lowest in the world. India's efforts have received global recognition.
